Our vascular ultrasound services are performed by Registered Vascular Technologists (RVTs), highly trained in detecting even subtle vascular abnormalities. With their expertise, we provide enhanced diagnostic accuracy and improved quality of care.

DOMINIQUE L.
Dominique (Dom) is our Director of Imaging. She has been practicing in the field of sonography since 2005 and has a passion for vascular ultrasound in particular and all that it encompasses. She takes pride as a Registered Vascular Technologist, earning her credentials through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Her role is vital in helping our surgeon’s identify and diagnose the various vascular pathologies through the ultrasound studies her department performs. She also assists our surgeons during vein ablation procedures with ultrasound guidance.

Carotid Ultrasound (Neck Arteries)
Preparation: None required
Tip: Wear a loose shirt with an open collar, or one that can be easily removed for access to the neck
Abdominal Vascular Ultrasound (Arterties/VEINS in the abdomen)
- Fasting required for 6–8 hours before the exam
No food or drink, except for small sips of water with necessary medication
Avoid smoking or chewing gum before the exam, as these can introduce air into the stomach and obscure imaging
